after the course in Guimaraes once again I returned to the office and back to work and I now have a new addition to the office my good friend from Turkey Ayhan who is going to spend several months in my clinic learning and in return he is going to organize all my pictures and cases…this is a dream come true !!!! He is a wonderful person and very very very hard worker. Well, once we organized his task i was back on the road and this time off to Dublin Ireland where I was invited to give a two day course to the Irish Orthodontic Society.
The theme of the course was “Interdisciplinary Treatment: The Future of Orthodontics” and although I have been saying this now for the last 5 years I really believe it is more true today than it was a few years back there more than one hundred attendees and I really enjoyed the group and the atmosphere. The meeting was held in the Marker Hotel a beautiful venue in the new part of Dublin and very very nice. The relationship with the group was special, lots of discussion, questions and feedback. This is what I like about two day courses, it gives you time to explain and enjoy and if you do not enjoy it is no fun lecturing.
We had time to meet old friends from Ireland who we had not seen for more than 20 years and we had excellent friends take care of us during our stay…. well another trip, more great memories, more new friends(this is what is life all about..isn’t it ????) and more work to do because when you lecture you realize that you still have more to learn and more to study… well back to San Sebastian…
see you soon, Domingo
